Tips for home rentals in Punta Cana

Three beautiful months spent in one of the most entertaining, young and exotic Island in the Caribbeans, got me willing to share with you my tips and tricks on things like home, car rental, food, attractions and other activities you should consider while traveling to this paradise like destination.

Me and my husband chose Punta Cana for our next 8-10 months life trip, as our home and so far we’re more than happy about it. But what is so special about Punta Cana that people choose it as their vacay destination besides other places in the Dominican Republic? First, and most important, being one of the most affordable islands in the Caribbeans makes it worthy enough. With gorgeous beaches, various activities from snorkelling to shark diving and surfing classes is most likely for Punta Cana to remain a top destination for years to come.

Of course, seeing the beach with the infinite palm trees everywhere you look, the absolute blue sky and turquoise ocean, could make you loose your mind a little. 😊
You don’t need to get all loose with your money, cause u can still have fun without making a fuss, that’s another reason why I love this place. So let’s get to it, shall we? 😊
I highly advise you to do your homework well before choosing a place to rent as you might pay for something not worthy. Just take your time, great opportunities may arise! In order to avoid disappointments and have enough time to chose your new home by actually going to some viewings. Also, is better to book your apartment through Airbnb for the first few weeks.

From my experience so far, the majority of expats choose to move in Bavaro, where you can easily access all kind of services close by, from restaurants, exotic beaches, entertainment, supermarkets and beauty salons.

For 1 bedroom apartment furnished close to the beach expect to pay an amount of $500-$800, all the bills included.

If you are looking for something more private within a secured gated community, then you wanna check out Cap Cana. It's a bit more exclusive, so expect to pay between $1200-$1700 for a huge 1 bedroom apartment with jacuzzi, huge balcony with ocean view, gym access, tennis court and private beach access.

So that’s pretty much how things are running in Punta Cana, in terms of rentals, I hope you found tips useful!
